We spent the day in the Santa Ana's - tackling Modjeska Peak and Santiago Peak. The hike was very hot and dusty, but we made the best of it and placed our signs on Modjeska Peak and close to Santiago Peak.
The sign of Modjeska Peak shows the rugged terrain and a reference to the American Grizzly Bear that used to inhabit this area.
