Wowza - what a tough hike. Climbing up to Pine Mountain via the North Backbone is a tough, tough hike - we do not recommend it unless you have experience with narrow ridges, loose gravel ground and very steep climbs... All that being said, the peak is stunning and absolutely beautiful!
Our sign captures the raw nature we crossed to reach the peak.
