Our hike to Sandstone Peak started early in the morning to be on the trail by sunrise. It was a foggy and rainy morning and we were pretty cold for the first hour, but once the sun broke through the hike was truly scenic and beautiful. We enjoyed the sun rays breaking through, the single track trail around the mountain and the absolutely stunning Peak!
The sign was designed with exactly those views in mind - the absolutely most beautiful sunset we could think of and the outline of Santa Monica - a reference to the Santa Monica Mountains. Enjoy the sign - See you on the trails!
