Our hike to Winston Peak happened on Star Wars Day - May 4th! The weather was cold, rainy and windy, but once we arrived at the trailhead it was truly beautiful and peaceful.
Our Summit Sign honors a Pasadena Banker named L.C Winston who liked to hunt in the area and passed away during a blizzard on one of his hunting trips. The mountain was then named after him.
